About us

Mai Ardour began while I was at university. After completing my maths assignments in the library, I’d go back to my room and spend my nights making a dresses with my little desktop sewing machine. It felt right to me, combining my love for problem solving, creativity and aesthetics to make clothing. I fell in love with understanding how garments were constructed, how subtle changes to a pattern could completely transform the way something fit, and how thoughtful design could create pieces people genuinely want to wear again and again.

That philosophy still guides every piece I design today. I love noticing what makes a garment truly worth keeping - not just how it looks, but how it feels, how it fits, and how often you reach for it.

My hope is to make clothing that earns a permanent place in your wardrobe.

Yours to keep, season after season.

Every Mai Ardour piece is produced in small quantities by carefully selected, family-owned manufacturers in Thailand and China. We partner only with teams whose craftsmanship and ethical practices meet the standards we hold for our brand.

Producing in limited runs allows us to focus on quality over quantity, creating thoughtfully made garments designed to be worn and loved for years to come.
